Asplundh Tree Expert Co is seeking a Commissioning Engineer in Amarillo, Texas. You will coordinate the testing and commissioning of electrical distribution and transmission substations for utility clients while supervising EPS startup personnel and contractors.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in electrical equipment testing and holds a BS or 2-year degree in electrical engineering. Strong communication and supervisory skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical equipment testing and inspection.
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and maintenance of power equipment.
• Experience working in utility transmission substations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical substations.
• Supervise EPS startup personnel and contractors.
• Develop and execute isolation and restoration work plans.
