Honeywell Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Lead Subcontracts Specialist to drive procurement of materials and services for assigned programs, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR and export control requirements.

Responsibilities include managing USG end-use subcontracts, collaborating with program offices and cost/estimates teams, and resolving subcontract issues to maintain cost, schedule, and performance objectives.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of procurement/subcontracts administration experience.
• DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15).
• Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle.
• Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools.

• Work with a sense of urgency; proactively engage with the internal program office/contracts group and support lead Program Managers when dealing with matters of subcontractor cost, performance, and schedule.
• Administer existing subcontracts with interaction with Program, Project, and Cost/Estimating Teams.

Job Description
As a Lead Subcontracts Specialist here at Honeywell, you will establish and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with business leadership for your assigned commodity/category and/or region as per the Annual Operating Plan. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, as well as Export/Import regulations.
In this role, you will impact the evaluation of bids and proposals, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), company policies and program requirements. Your expertise in subcontract management will be crucial in identifying and resolving subcontract issues and developing mutually acceptable solutions.
