Job summary

Technibus, Inc. is seeking a Communications Technician II to lead a small team of installers, coordinating daily workload while ensuring safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include installing outlets for floors and walls, terminating jacks, mounting face plates, and following labeling standards.

You will perform testing, identify active circuits, and manage project paperwork with accuracy. Requires 2+ years in telecommunications, tool proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in telecommunications or related technical field and ability to supervise others.
  • Proficient with listed tools.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents.
  • Know universal communications color codes.
  • Meet company driving standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead small teams of installers and coordinate daily workload.
  • Install outlets for floors, modular furniture, and walls; terminate jacks and mount face plates.
  • Perform testing and troubleshoot circuitry; identify active voice/data circuits.
  • Complete IES COMMERCIAL paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, work orders, etc).
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards and regulations; complete other assigned duties.
