Larson Engineering Inc. in Missouri is seeking a Project Engineer - Structural to perform engineering assignments and develop professional skills across related tasks, applying standard techniques and sound judgment.

This role reports to the Department Manager and participates in projects that emphasize Passion, Integrity, Respect, and Teamwork within a growing, employee-owned firm. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects, lead engineers and technicians,

Qualifications

• PE licensure is required.
• 4+ years of engineering experience (or 3+ years with a Master’s degree).
• Ability to lead projects independently.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and tracking.
• Strong communication with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, coordinates, and executes engineering projects with standard scope and features.
• Coordinates the work of engineers, designers, and technicians supporting assigned projects.
• Supports the development of junior engineers and designers through training and guidance.
• Prepares fee proposals for standard project types with Department Manager approval.
• Manages project performance, including budget, schedule, and overall results.
• Ensures compliance with design safety standards across assigned projects.
