Job summary

EM Structural LLC in Atlanta, GA seeks a Full Time Civil/Structural Engineer to perform hand calculations, develop project documents, and participate in on-site meetings during construction. This role requires a BS in civil engineering and EIT certification, with RAM/ETABS, AutoCAD, and Revit proficiency.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, structural emphasis; MS preferred.
• E.I.T. (or E.I.) certification; PE preferred.
• Experience with building materials: structural steel, concrete, post-tensioned concrete, wood, masonry.
• Familiar with Bentley RAM, ETABS; proficient with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand calculations based on engineering principles and codes.
• Utilize engineering software for CAD work.
• Produce project documents for client submissions.
• Attend on-site meetings and inspections during construction.
• Prepare formal written reports for clients.
• Interact with clients throughout the project design.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers on projects.
