Job summary

A leading construction company in California is hiring a Steel Erector. The position involves erecting steel columns, beams, and guardrails, as well as installing safety lines. Candidates should have 3+ years of structural and ornamental steel experience and relevant welding certifications. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $25 to $40, depending on experience. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field experience installing structural and ornamental steel.
• Experience working with design and erection drawings.
• OSHA, Rigger, Fire Watch Experience - OSHA 10 (minimum).
• Heavy equipment operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install Safety Line and Posts.
• Erecting Steel Columns, Beams, Girders, Trusses.
• Cut, position, and bolt down steel bars for concrete reinforcement.
• Able to read and understand shop drawings (blueprints) preferred.

Welding Certificates (D1.1, D1.8)

Flux Core Welding Experience

Bilingual (Spanish and English)

Clean Driving Record

Scissor lift and telehandler experience
