Qualifications

• Typically 6 years industrial construction experience with 2 years in supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Identify safe practices and at-risk conditions and provide corrective action.
• Check adequacy of existing job/task methods and procedures.
• Instruct journeymen in craft tasks including safety procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, understand job specifications and inspect finished work for quality.
• Understand the work scope, priorities and schedules; complete planned work on schedule.
• Identify potential problems and take remedial action when work is not per drawings/specifications.
• Be familiar with project cost control procedures and stay within cost goals.
• Ensure accurate reports are submitted with regard to time sheets, backcharges, quantity, and work status.
• Typically has 6 years industrial construction experience with 2 years in Supervisory roles.
