Job summary

Kennedy Jenks seeks a licensed Civil Engineer with a structural focus to lead design and consulting for water and wastewater infrastructure across the United States. You will support integrity, life safety, constructability, and long-term performance while collaborating with engineers, designers, and construction teams.

This role involves designing concrete, steel, wood, masonry, and composite solutions, producing calculations, drawings, and specs, and using BIM and analysis tools from planning

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree with structural focus.
• Minimum 10 years (15 preferred) consulting engineering experience in structural design.
• Licensed PE in California required; SE preferred in California.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for infrastructure projects of varying size and complexity.
• Prepare design deliverables: calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Analyze treatment plant buildings, tanks, and related infrastructure for seismic regions.
• Support construction-phase services with field observations and coordination.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and construction teams.
• Apply BIM and analysis tools to support planning through construction.
