Dewberry Engineers Incorporated in Peoria, IL seeks a Structural Engineer to lead the structural design of diverse building projects. You will manage staff, perform analyses, and coordinate with design teams to produce construction documents.

Responsibilities include project management, client relationship development, and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. SE license in Illinois or progress toward it is required, with a preference for a Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Structural Engineering (SE) License in Illinois, or ability to obtain within one year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Structural Engineering Project Manager for building projects.
• Develop, perform, and manage the structural design; include existing building evaluations.
• Provide technical assistance and mentor structural design staff.
