Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design for offshore modules and modular building products. You will develop civil/structural solutions for oil & gas facilities, generate calculations, and collaborate with mechanical, piping, and electrical teams.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in oil & gas, a Texas PE license, and hands-on experience with STAAD Pro, RAMconnect, and MathCAD. Travel to sites and fabrication yards is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Structural Engineering.
• Master of Science Degree in Structural Engineering is a plus.
• Professional Engineering License in Texas is required, other states are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs for offshore Single Lift Modules and Modular Building Products.
• Prepare project drawings and foundation/interface loads.
• Produce structural analysis reports and design calculations.
• Support field activities from design through fabrication and start-up.
