Job summary

Jobot is seeking a permanent Structural Team Leader focused on Cold-Formed Steel in the United States. You will lead a team of engineers and designers, guiding the design and delivery of cold-formed steel structures throughout the project cycle.

You will oversee schematic drawings, proposals, progress reviews, and construction documents while negotiating contracts to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering with a strong focus on cold-formed steel.
• Experience with schematic drawings, proposal processes, progress reports, layout and redline drawings, and negotiating fees.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results.
• Extensive knowledge of cold-formed steel (CFS) and light gauge steel.
• 7+ years of management experience.
• Degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and designers in the design and delivery of cold-formed steel structures.
• Develop schematic drawings and oversee the proposal process, ensuring designs meet high standards of quality.
• Review progress reports and provide feedback to ensure projects stay on track and on budget.
• Oversee layout and redline drawings for accuracy and compliance with specs.
• Negotiate fees and contracts to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and coordinate efforts across teams.
• Prepare and review construction documents ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
