Job summary

Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute is seeking a Structural Engineer with 3+ years of experience in cold-formed steel projects. You will work directly with architects, contractors and sub-contractors, writing proposals and negotiating contracts while coordinating multiple project designs.

You will design and layout structural drawings, perform analyses for curtain wall and load-bearing systems, and prepare calculations for submittals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Structural or Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited college.
• 3+ years of experience in structural design of cold-formed steel buildings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, contractors and sub-contractors on projects.
• Write engineering proposals and negotiate engineering contracts.
• Organize and manage structural design efforts for multiple projects.
• Design and layout structural drawings including plans and details.
• Perform structural analysis and design for cold-formed steel framing.
• Prepare structural calculations and submittal drawings.
• Work with leadership on operational and strategic initiatives.
