This full-time Structural Engineer role in Maumee, OH, leads bridge and highway structure projects from concept to final design, offering mentorship and meaningful impact on transportation infrastructure. Key responsibilities include design and analysis, field inspections, and preparing deliverables while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience with structural engineering, including bridge work.
• PE (Professional Engineer) required.
• Bridge design and analysis experience; ODOT experience a plus.
• Experience with STAAD-Pro, MDX, Leap Bridge Design R, and Midas Civil; Midas Civil experience a plus.
• Knowledge of Bridge and Culvert Manual, AASHTO, AISC, ACI, IBC, and ASCE 7 specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of highway structures and bridges, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with standards.
• Field inspections of transportation structures and bridges to assess condition and provide recommendations.
• Preparation of engineering deliverables (PS&E) and calculations, monitoring work for codes compliance.
• Lead projects or disciplines, mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
• Collaborate with survey, geotechnical, and transportation staff to deliver integrated solutions.
