Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary practice in an Associate-level leadership role in Los Angeles.

This position blends technical leadership, project management, client engagement, and mentorship while supporting the regional team's growth. You will lead structural projects, oversee delivery, develop proposals, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience with significant project or team leadership.
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Active PE and/or SE license.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects across diverse sectors and scales.
• Oversee delivery: scope, schedule, budget, quality, coordination.
• Develop proposals, fee estimates, and project strategies.
• Build relationships with clients, architects, consultants and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and participate in reviews of drawings, specs, and reports.
• Mentor engineers and project teams.
• Contribute to business development and pursue new opportunities.
• Represent the firm at client meetings and industry events.
