Lead Structural Engineer

As the Lead Structural Engineer at our company, you will hold a critical position in managing and advancing complex engineering projects. Your role involves steering a dedicated team of 5 to 10 engineers towards delivering top-notch, innovative solutions that align with client specifications and industry standards. Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead a team of 5-10 design engineers, promoting an environment of collaboration and innovation.
• Effectively manage project resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Perform detailed analysis and design reviews to uphold accuracy and compliance with national and international engineering standards.
• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to ascertain project requirements and to offer informed advisory services.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of modern construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory requirements to enhance service delivery.
• Cultivate a productive team dynamic, mentoring junior engineers and fostering professional development within the team.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in structural engineering, particularly in a consulting environment.
• Proven track record in leading and motivating engineering teams.
• A high level of attention to detail in the planning, design, and delivery of projects.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
• Physical ability to visit various construction sites and client facilities for project assessment and meetings.
• Must hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading sizeable architectural or infrastructure projects.
