Job summary

HKA Enterprises in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a Structural Designer to develop 2D/3D structural models and construction-ready documentation while coordinating with engineers and other disciplines. The role also offers the opportunity to lead small design teams and take ownership of project deliverables.

Hybrid (2 days onsite per week) with a Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. Pay: $40–$43/hour ($80k annually DOE) + benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD/Drafting or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of structural drafting/design experience.
• 3+ years of Revit experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D structural models and complete structural plans/details.
• Translate engineering concepts into construction-ready documentation.
• Coordinate designs with engineering and other disciplines.
• Review models and drawings for accuracy, quality, and code compliance.
• Lead small design packages, assign tasks, monitor progress, and support team members.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and problem-solving.
• Embrace design automation and emerging technologies.
