Job summary

Plump Engineering is seeking a Structural Engineering Project Manager to lead structural projects from planning through construction in Anaheim, CA. You will coordinate Project Engineers, Designers, and EITs, maintain client relationships, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The role blends advanced structural engineering with project management, requiring strong technical guidance and adherence to applicable codes.

Responsibilities

Project Management: Manage structural engineering projects from proposal through construction while maintaining scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
Technical Execution: Perform structural engineering design, analysis, and preparation of calculations, drawings, and construction documents for a variety of project types.
Team Coordination: Coordinate the work of Project Engineers, Designers, and EITs while providing day-to-day technical guidance and support.
Client Management: Maintain effective client communication throughout the project lifecycle while supporting repeat business opportunities.
Quality: Review project deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance with company standards prior to issuance.
Code Compliance: Ensure all structural designs and calculations meet applicable local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
Innovation: Promote the use of efficient engineering tools and workflows.
