Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking a Storage and Virtualization Lead Engineer to oversee the PACAF BlackCore network's storage and virtualization environment, ensuring resiliency and continuous operation across three sites. The role involves documentation, incident leadership, and RMF artifact preparation.

The candidate should hold active TS clearance, extensive DoD cybersecurity certifications, and 2+ years of Dell, Cisco, and VMware experience, with travel up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• Active TS security clearance required.
• DoD 8140/DoD 8570.1-M IAT 3 certification or equivalent.
• Maintain expert level certifications (CCIE/JCIE; VMware certs; Dell certs).
• Minimum 2+ years with Dell, Cisco and VMware solutions.
• Experience briefing senior leaders to large audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of time to PACAF MOBs/GSUs.
• Familiarity with AF Cyber architecture, PACAF roles and DoD security standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop documentation of storage and virtualization configurations and train PACAF personnel.
• Provide ongoing support for storage/virtualization across three sites.
• Lead troubleshooting during management stack interruptions and incidents.
• Monitor performance and adjust configurations for resiliency and availability.
• Address connectivity, performance, and security issues with storage/virtual environments.
• Assist Government with RMF artifacts: SSP, STIGs, POAMs, Topology, etc.
• Collect and develop A&A artifacts as required by AO Office.
