The salary range for this position is $22.60 - $31.65 (Hourly Rate)
Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

The Lead Sterile Processing Technician position reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. Reports to Sterile Processing Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating activities of personnel engaged in cleaning, sterilizing, assembling and distributing of sterilized instruments and equipment upon direction of the Supervisor. Assists Sterile Processing Technicians to help ensure that all policies and procedures are followed, and assists Supervisor with annual staff evaluations. Assist with ordering needed supplies and instruments for department. Helps to ensure that all equipment in the department is in proper working order.
