Job summary

Harsco Environmental is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee hourly workers at steel mill sites. You will coordinate operations, ensure safety standards, and align with customer requirements.

The role demands strong leadership, effective communication, and hands-on involvement with equipment and crews to deliver timely results. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of supervisory experience in similar settings, plus proficiency with Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of supervisory experience in hourly production roles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and able to format tables and organize data.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant operations to ensure customer obligations are met on time.
• Implement safety objectives to maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate tasks, materials and equipment needs to workforce clearly.
• Oversee training and operation of heavy equipment on site.
• Schedule employees and equipment to meet production demands.
• Conduct daily safety talks at shift start and document records accurately.
• Identify improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Collaborate with Site Manager and Operations Director on issues within areas.
