Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company is seeking a Principal Engineer for the Steam Turbine Fleet Team (STFT) within the Engineering and Operations Support Services group. You will provide technical leadership for a large steam turbine fleet across fossil and nuclear units.

This role drives reliability improvements and champions data-driven engineering decisions. You will lead root-cause investigations, manage fleet documentation, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and leadership on outage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Experience: 6+ years in engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for steam turbine fleet assets and standardize engineering practices.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause investigations for fleet issues.
• Manage fleet documentation (Engineering Requests, Work Orders, OEM bulletins, MOCs) and support outages and asset strategy.
