codeCampus is seeking to hire and train a Lead Instructor to work within the Lawndale area for the current school year. You will lead STEAM projects and activities for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum, teaching TK to 8th grade students.

Ideal candidates have experience in teaching, exceptional communication skills, and a willingness to undergo our professional development training program.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
• Exceptional communication skills with students, parents, and staff.
• Access to reliable transportation to sites in Lawndale and surrounding areas.
• Willing to go through our professional development training program.
• Availability to work after-school hours as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Lead STEAM projects/activities for students using our curriculum.
• Teach students in grades TK-8th.
• Collaborate with site staff at partner schools in the area.
