Job summary

Syneos Health in the United States is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer (ClinPharm) to lead programming activities within the statistical programming group. You will develop SAS programs to create tables, listings, and graphs, ensure quality, and collaborate with statisticians and project teams.

You will also participate in sponsor meetings, contribute to SOPs, and help ensure the timeliness and accuracy of deliverables while maintaining inspection-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in a scientific or statistical discipline; in lieu of degree, an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated programming experience.
• Extensive programming experience in SAS or other required software, preferably in a clinical trial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Uses SAS or other software to develop custom programming code to generate summary tables, data listings, graphs and derived datasets as specified in the SAP and programming specs.
• Ensures outputs meet quality standards and project requirements; performs validation programming and resolves discrepancies with team members.
• Maintains organized project documentation, testing, and quality control documents and programs for inspection readiness.
• Manages scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects; develops specifications for datasets and outputs according to requirements.
• Leads programming activities, reviews project documentation, and mentors junior team members as needed.
