Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of electric utility engineering experience.

• Strong communication and safety compliance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise the engineering and design of AEP station facilities, aligned with approved schedules and budgets.
• Provide technical consultation and support for research, planning, operations and maintenance activities.
• Support capital forecast development for AEP stations and coordinate with planning, engineering, operations and maintenance groups.
• Assist in internal budget development for Station Projects Engineering.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote and enforce safety and health practices; contribute to safety investigations as needed.
• Define performance expectations and evaluate and reward performance to align with business goals.
• Develop employees to reach their potential and plan career paths.
