Lead Starlink Production Technician (Phased Array) - 1st Shift

LEAD STARLINK PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN (PHASED ARRAY) - 1ST SHIFT

One of SpaceX's most ambitious missions, the Starlink satellite constellation, aims to provide reliable internet worldwide. We seek talented lead technicians to support full-scale production of Starlink satellites. The success of Starlink depends on the quality, reliability, cost, manufacturability, throughput, and security of the products you deliver. Responsibilities
  • Lead satellite production team to meet daily production goals.
  • Assist in developing production processes and identify continuous improvements to reliably meet targets.
  • Communicate daily output, address slowdowns, and escalate production blockers.
  • Forecast future workload to ensure technicians have necessary tools and materials.
  • Train technicians on tasks and processes, providing feedback on technique and efficiency.
  • Maintain and enforce 5S principles and safety standards in the production area.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6+ months as a SpaceX Technician or 1+ year experience in aerospace production outside of SpaceX.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience as a mechanical technician and/or working with SpaceX vehicle integration.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, and instructions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adaptability to changing assignments and fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of SpaceX enterprise systems (Warpdrive).
Additional Requirements
  • Availability for 1st shift hours, overtime, and weekends as needed (estimated shift: 5AM-3:30PM).
  • Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, bend, grasp, sit, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges vary by level, from $25.00 to $42.00/hour plus lead differential. Actual salary depends on skills, experience, and education. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock options, bonuses, paid time off, and more. SpaceX also offers shuttles from Seattle to Redmond.
