Porter Logistics is seeking a Second Shift Lead Operator for our Atlanta cold storage facility. You will run a reach truck most of the shift and lead a crew of 1–3 operators, handling order pulling, staging, and nightly reporting for the Operations Manager.

The role requires 2+ years on a stand-up reach truck, RF scanner proficiency, and the ability to train others while maintaining high accuracy. Work is on-site in a temperature-controlled environment with pay and benefits provided.

Qualificações

• 2+ years operating a stand-up reach truck.
• Experience with RF scanners; Extensiv WMS experience is a plus.
• Ability to train others and give clear direction.
• Strong attention to detail on locations, counts and paperwork.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; stand and walk for a full shift.
• Comfort working in warehouse temperatures, including freezer/chiller areas.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a stand-up reach truck to unload containers, put away product and pull orders.
• Assign daily work to a crew of 1 to 3 forklift operators.
• Train new operators on reach truck operation and safety standards.
• Record moves with RF scanners in Extensiv WMS.
• Inspect equipment before shifts and report issues.
• Submit end-of-shift report to Operations Manager.
• Enforce safety rules and SOPs across the crew.
