Job summary

MEDLOG Cold Storage in Rincon, GA is seeking a Cold Storage High-Reach Operator for the 11pm–7:30am shift. This role uses a high-reach truck to move pallets in the freezer and blast-freezer, climbing to heights up to 55 feet and working in narrow aisles.

The operator will comply with BRCGS, OSHA, FDA/USDA regulations and safety policies, inspect MHE daily, and coordinate with leadership to meet customer requirements in a refrigerated environment.

• Must have a solid work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
• Ability to efficiently coordinate work with co-workers and take instructions from leadership.
• Awareness of the food safety requirements and company procedures for properly handling goods and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Comply with facility food safety and defense programs as outlined in the BRCGS requirements.
• Conduct daily inspections of the MHE to ensure its safety and ability to perform necessary operations.
• Retrieve and put away pallets in double deep pushback racking with heights 8 to 55 feet.
• Comply with company policies and procedures along with all customer requirements.
• Maintain and work in accordance with OSHA rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Stamp cases for export in accordance with FDA/USDA regulations.
• Operate ride-on double pallet jack.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work area.
• Operate under HACCP guidelines for safe handling of fresh and frozen proteins.
