Job summary

Big D Metalworks is seeking a seasoned lead installer/foreman to manage 3–5 person crews, install stairs, rails, and related metals on high-profile projects nationwide. You will read blueprints, perform layout, ensure alignment, level, and finish quality, and liaise with general contractors on busy job sites.

Requires 5+ years in metal/stair/rail installation, crew leadership, welding and finishing experience, OSHA 10, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of metal, stair, or rail installation experience.
• Crew leadership experience.
• Blueprint reading and layout skills.
• Welding and finishing experience.
• OSHA 10 certification and a valid driver's license.
• Strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3–5 person installation crews on projects.
• Install stairs, rails, and related metals.
• Perform layout (FF, BM, control lines).
• Ensure alignment, level, and finish quality.
• Interface with general contractors and jobsite teams.
• Maintain safety and productivity at the site.
