Responsibilities
  • Organize all points of technical sales with Spotfire accounts, collaborating where appropriate with local partners and system integrators.
  • Develop an understanding of each customers\' current and future needs.
  • Create a technical account strategy and plan for success in an account.
  • Expand Spotfire\'s presence within existing accounts.
  • Identify and technically qualify new business opportunities.
  • Deliver or coordinate technical briefings, demos, RFIs/RFPs, and Proof of Value projects.
  • Lead hands-on design work during the evaluation (Proof of Concept) phase.
  • Provide valuable feedback to Engineering based on real-world usage patterns.
  • Install, configure, demonstrate, and troubleshoot Spotfire products.
  • Articulate competitive solution/product differentiators to customers and the sales team.
  • Participate in industry conferences to network with customers and promote Spotfire.
  • The position is based in the USA and you must have the right to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work as a remote worker.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 40% of the time.
  • Ability to travel to visit customers and attend events.
Required Experience/Skills
  • Significant hands-on experience with Spotfire.
  • Ability to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of Spotfire analytics software.
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience in advanced data analytics.
  • English fluency and proficiency, spoken and written, is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communications and storytelling skills enabling effective communication with senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a strong team environment.
  • Capability to understand real-world data analytics problems, propose solutions, compare and contrast them, validate results, and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Optional Experience/Skills
  • Domain knowledge and experience in key industries such as Manufacturing, Energy, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Life Sciences.
  • University Degree or higher in STEM (Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Science, or related analytical field).
  • Spanish and Portuguese speakers are a plus.
  • Experience applying advanced analytics, including machine learning and optimization techniques, to large, complex, and disparate data sources.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL
  • Experience with cloud implementations, particularly Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with streaming and data virtualization technologies is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of the Command of the Message sales methodology.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.

Salary ranges by location (examples): NY $140,844-$211,266; CA $146,968-$220,452; All other locations $122,473-$183,709. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Cloud Software Group and the country where you work. U.S. based employees are typically offered access to healthcare, life insurance and disability benefits, 401(k) plan and company match, among others.
