Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking a Spiritual Care Coordinator to provide leadership and oversight for the hospital's spiritual care program. You will supervise chaplains and spiritual care staff while promoting compassionate, patient-centered support for patients, families, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Divinity, Theology, Pastoral Care, Religious Studies, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of chaplaincy or pastoral care experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Board Certification or eligibility through APC, NACC, ACPE preferred.
• Must have completed 4 units of CPE with ACPE.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the hospital's spiritual care program.
• Supervise chaplains and spiritual care staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient experience.
• Co-develop departmental goals and manage daily operations.
• Lead Medical Ethics Committee activities.
