Krogh Outpatient Rehabilitation - 7 Plainsboro Road - Plainsboro NJ

Available Shift hours:

Flexible - three days starting as early as 7-8 am, 3:30-4 pm; two days late 11:30 am until 7 pm or 8 pm; weekdays only, no weekends.

Summary:

  • The Lead Speech-Language Pathologist supervises staff speech-language pathologists in inpatient and outpatient settings. Provides speech, language, and dysphagia services per ASHA standards, NJ licensure, and hospital bylaws. Practice involves evaluation, treatment, and education for disorders across the lifespan, including aphasia, articulation, auditory processing, dysphagia, hearing impairment, language impairment, and others.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises scheduling and monitors productivity. Conducts audits, annual competencies, and new hire training. Attends governance meetings and participates in performance improvement. Assists in interviewing and program development. Performs patient examinations and skilled services independently. Evaluates clinical findings, designs care plans, and adapts care. Documents care in EMR and communicates with team. Ensures compliance with productivity standards. Supports department goals and collaborates with staff. Engages in professional development and maintains confidentiality. Represents PHCS professionally. Implements educational activities and provides consultation.

Credentials:

  • Speech Language Pathologist (Required)
  • Current NJ license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • CCC from ASHA or eligible for CFY (Required)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)

Education or Experience:

  • Master's degree in Arts or Science (Required)
  • Specialization in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program or equivalent experience (3-5 years with diverse populations)
