Job summary

The Chattanooga Heart Institute, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks an experienced Speciality Clinic RN to lead a clinical team and set a high standard for patient care. You will advocate for staff and patients, manage regulatory compliance, and drive clinical excellence within a cardiovascular setting.

You will guide nurses and aides, coordinate patient flow, communicate results, and ensure timely follow-up and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Assess patient, collect data, and perform testing to prepare patient for physician visit.
• Maintain patient flow through the clinic.
• Forward test results and documentation to physician for review; execute orders as received.
• Notify patient of test results and ensure appropriate follow up per protocol.
• Timely response of all patient care inquiries.
• Complete patient refills as requested by both patient and pharmacy, ensuring labs are ordered per protocol.
• Patient and family/caregiver education.
