Responsibilities

• Assist with pediatric and adult cardiac procedures.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in the EP lab.
• Work as part of a team in high-responsibility surgeries.

Job description

Lead Special Procedural Technologist, Cardiovascular

The Special Procedural Technologist, Lead, Cardiovascular is an essential member of the EP lab team with a high degree of responsibility. Assist with diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic procedures including but not limited to peripheral and coronary angioplasty/stent, atherectomy, laser, coronary ultrasound, temporary cardiac assist devices, mitral clip, TAVR, ablations, device implantation, lead, and device extraction/explant.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree
• Medical Doctorate with deemed appropriate experience will be considered.
• 2 years of experience scrubbing in for invasive cardiac and/or vascular (CV) procedures OR 1-year experience scrubbing in on invasive CV procedures and RCIS or RCES certification
• BCLS and ACLS required
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RCIS or RCES) or RT (R, CI) or other deemed acceptable certification or degree (Foreign-trained)

The base salary is $59.38/hour.
