LifeLine Animal Project in College Park, GA seeks a Lead Spay/Neuter Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and staff in clinical and patient-care activities, and to provide excellent client service. The role acts as the glue holding team together, supervising technicians, training assistants, and ensuring efficient operations.

Responsibilities include directing technicians, educating clients on products, maintaining records, and ensuring regulatory compliance with animal-health laws;

Qualifications

• Two years of college (pre-veterinary).
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred.
• Experience in veterinary practice or medical environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong client-service orientation.
• Leadership and staff supervision experience.

Responsabilités

• Direct and assist technicians and keep them on task in duties.
• Educate clients about products and answer questions.
• Oversee daily checklists and maintenance logs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and animal-health laws.
• Provide input on employee performance and training.
