Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Spanish Guide for a mixed-age preschool classroom in a Montessori setting. You will foster concentration, independence, and deep learning as you provide individualized lessons and build strong relationships with children and families.

You will lead with warmth and professionalism, supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional growth while collaborating with parents and the Guidepost team.

Qualifications

• Montessori diploma for ages 0-3, or willingness to obtain certification (fully sponsored)
• Experience working with children ages 1.5-3 in a group learning environment
• Alignment with child-led philosophies such as Montessori
• Required ECE or Child Development credits

Responsibilities

• Observe each child closely to understand and support their development
• Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom that fosters concentration and independence
• Encourage self-confidence by supporting children as they learn to do it themselves
• Provide individualized and small-group lessons in practical life, literacy, math, and beyond
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
• Communicate and collaborate with parents to support each child’s growth
• Lead your classroom with warmth, professionalism, and purpose
