Job summary

Moog Space and Defense Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Spacecraft Integrated Systems Chief Engineer to provide technical leadership across the full lifecycle of complex spacecraft and spaceflight systems. This role acts as a technical authority responsible for product integrity and advancing technology strategies for mission-critical programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible engineering experience on aerospace/defense programs.
• Extensive experience developing, integrating, testing, and deploying spaceflight systems.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams across large programs.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering, architecture, requirements, integration, verification, and mission assurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for spacecraft integrated systems across all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Be accountable for product integrity, technical excellence, and mission success across programs.
• Lead large, multidisciplinary engineering initiatives across systems engineering, mechanical, electronics, software, and controls.
• Support development and execution of technology strategies and long-term roadmaps.
• Establish and maintain technical standards for performance, reliability, and safety.
• Provide leadership in architecture, requirements management, integration, verification, and qualification.
• Ensure compliance with Moog processes, requirements, and standards.
