Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations at our Playa Vista facility. The role focuses on meeting quality, efficiency, and safety standards while leading a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in high-rate production, strong leadership, and a track record of process improvements. This full-time position includes equity, premium healthcare, and a comprehensive PTO package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of professional experience in a high-rate manufacturing/production environment.
• Proven leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality systems (e.g., ISO, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Train, mentor, and manage a team of production employees, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth & improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing regular feedback and addressing performance issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering) to resolve production issues and optimize processes.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, downtime, and waste, and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
