Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. in Playa Vista, CA seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead a production team toward quality, efficiency, and safety targets.

You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to resolve issues. The role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to a collaborative, high-performing work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of professional experience in a high-rate manufacturing/production environment.
• 2+ years of experience leading a manufacturing/engineering team or leading collaborative/cross-functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality systems (e.g., ISO, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
• Proven leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, and manage a team of production employees, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth & improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing regular feedback and addressing performance issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering) to resolve production issues and optimize processes.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, downtime, and waste, and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
• Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure the availability of materials and timely delivery of finished goods.

About The Role

Compensation Range: $108K - $148.5K
