Job summary

Vast is looking for a Director, Mission Engineering & Management to oversee program execution for their new spacecraft product line based in Long Beach. You will manage customer relationships and mission scheduling for a 10-satellite demo launch planned for Q4 2027.

The ideal candidate has extensive aerospace engineering experience, including program management and customer management skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• 3+ years of program management or systems engineering leadership experience.
• Experience running satellite or complex hardware delivery programs.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the integrated master schedule and milestone tracking.
• Manage customer interface and payload requirements.
• Plan and coordinate the launch campaign.
