Job summary

Star Catcher seeks an experienced Facility Security Officer in Jacksonville, FL to own the security program and protect assets, information, and personnel. You will lead risk-based decisions, manage access control, and coordinate with DCSA and executives.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, 7–10+ years in security and 3–5 years as FSO, plus CSO collaboration and incident response leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Admin or related field.
• 7–10+ years of security experience with 3–5 years as FSO or Assistant FSO.
• Complete DCSA / CDSE FSO Course for Possessing or Non-Possessing Facilities.
• Deep knowledge of NISPOM, ITAR/EAR, NIST/CMMC and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, govern, and continuously improve the industrial security program.
• Advise CSO on evolving threats, compliance updates, and risk mitigations.
• Oversee annual security budget, contracts, access control, and security architecture.
• Serve as liaison to DCSA, law enforcement, and government sponsors.
• Direct investigations, incident response, and insider threat programs.
