Job summary

Compass Group USA’s CulinArt Sector is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for the Rosenbloom Hillel Center, College Park, MD 20740. You will assist the Executive Chef by preparing and cooking foods, coordinating kitchen activities, and ensuring quality across menus.

You will supervise cooks, ensure recipes and production standards, maintain food safety, manage temperatures and presentation, and handle inventory and orders as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of professional kitchen experience required.
• Previous sous chef experience preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates including scheduling and training.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils, and ensures safe food handling.
