North Italia, part of The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, is hiring a Sous Chef in Cerritos. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will lead a culinary team, ensure from-scratch preparation, and uphold quality, flavor and hospitality.

The role requires 2+ years of high-volume culinary management, strong operations insight, and experience with POS and inventory tools. You will manage shifts, control costs, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and mentor staff in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of high-volume culinary management experience.
• Demonstrated working understanding of business operations and financials.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory control; familiarity with Crunchtime is a plus.

• Manage shifts including scheduling and planning.
• Demonstrate ingredient knowledge and culinary trend awareness.
• Help restaurant reach financial goals by controlling cost of goods and searching for solutions when targets are not met.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment care.
• Manage on-the-fly requests with calm and poise, creating a positive work environment.
• Foster continuous learning and provide feedback and corrective action as needed.
• Manage labor expectations and plan each scheduled shift accordingly.
• Discuss P&L with management and monitor sales and labor budgets.
