Job summary

ADOM Academy in Danbury, CT is seeking a highly experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our faculty as a Full-Time Lead Sonography Instructor. The role combines classroom teaching with hands-on scanning lab leadership to develop proficient, job-ready sonographers.

The successful candidate will mentor students, model best practices, and provide clinical precepting as needed. This is an on-site, full-time position with a commitment to academic excellence and patient-safe imaging

Qualifications

• Minimum of two current sonography credentials required.
• Significant clinical sonography experience.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound anatomy, pathology, protocols, and scanning techniques.
• Hands-on scanning skills across multiple ultrasound specialties.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach complex concepts clearly in the classroom and scanning lab.
• Ability to connect with, motivate, and mentor students.
• Teaching, training, or clinical precepting experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and lead the sonography coursework and scanning labs.
