Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills with physicians, patients and staff.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced department.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet department needs.
• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program; ARDMS/ARRT credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and document patient history prior to procedures.
• Position patients and operate ultrasound equipment for imaging.
• Ensure patient privacy and safety; maintain sterile technique.
• Restock supplies and assist with cross-modality support as needed.
• Provide pre/post procedural care and patient education.
