Job summary

Anderson Environmental Contracting, LLC in the Pacific Northwest seeks an experienced Sonic Driller to lead a drilling crew and manage field activities from setup to completion.

The role requires strong drilling knowledge, proven crew leadership, and a commitment to safe work practices. Regular travel within the Pacific Northwest is expected, with opportunities for additional training and advancement.

Qualifications

• At least five years in drilling.
• Three years operating sonic rigs independently.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sonic drilling rigs and associated support equipment.
• Lead and supervise the assigned drilling crew.
• Coordinate drilling activities from site setup through completion and abandonment.
• Review drilling plans, project requirements, and site conditions before beginning work.
• Organize and prepare drilling equipment, tooling, materials, and supplies.
• Direct the safe setup, operation, maintenance, and breakdown of drilling equipment.
• Monitor crew hours, equipment usage, and production; record documentation.
• Complete daily drilling reports and logs; ensure safety records are up to date.
