Job summary

MBC Talent Connections seeks a Supervising Solid Waste Engineer / Project Manager in Irvine, CA. This full-time leadership role offers a base salary of $180,000–$200,000 plus annual bonus eligibility.

You will manage complex remediation projects, lead teams, and grow the practice with strategic client engagement. You will coordinate with clients, regulators, and subconsultants, mentoring teams and driving proposals to reach revenue milestones, while upholding safety and quality standards across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred).
• CA PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• 12+ years remediation and/or solid waste engineering experience in California.
• Proven business development success and long-term client relationships.
• Ability to review and edit technical reports to meet scope, quality, and client expectations.
• Experience leading teams and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead solid waste and remediation projects from start to finish.
• Oversee design and specifications for vapor extraction, landfill gas collection, capping, and vapor intrusion systems.
• Lead deliverables and review data through design, construction, and O&M phases.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, stakeholders, and subconsultants.
• Grow the business through client relationships and proposals.
