This is a site‑based position located in Stockdale, TX. Occasional travel may be required to support maintenance activities at other Enbridge‑operated facilities. The role involves regular outdoor fieldwork in varying weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures. Physical requirements include regularly walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and stooping, as well as lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Work may involve repetitive use of hand tools and equipment and requires adequate vision, depth perception, and colour recognition to safely complete assigned tasks. Flexible hours may be required to meet operational needs, including participation in a scheduled 24/7 on‑call rotation for emergency response and unplanned maintenance. The position operates in an active solar facility where strict adherence to electrical safety, hazardous energy control, working‑at‑heights, and other safe work practices is essential.
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light‑moderate lifting (objects up to 50 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect colour coding, read the fine print), hearing requirement. Mobility to walk in outdoor conditions that occasionally involve uneven and slippery terrain and to enter and exit excavations. Agility can ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other devices using feet, legs, and/or hands and arms. Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short‑term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
Base salary ranges from $85,500 – $100,500 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
