Job summary

Samuel Knight Energy & Digital Infrastructure seeks a Lead Solar Technician in Maryland to oversee operations and maintenance of solar panel systems at large utility-scale sites.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose and repair issues, and ensure safety compliance with opportunities for certification progression and overtime.

Ideal candidates have 1-2+ years of O&M on large solar projects, experience with AC/DC/PV systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of O&M experience on utility-scale solar farms or large commercial/industrial projects.
• Experience with AC, DC, and PV systems.
• Experience locating and troubleshooting ground faults.
• IV curve tracing and megging experience (either is fine, ideally both).
• OSHA certifications.
• Valid driver's license.
• Certifications available for progression.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Solar Technician to join one of our reputable solar clients, who develop, own, and maintain their own sites. As a Solar Technician, you will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of solar panel systems. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on solar panel systems,
• Diagnose and repair, troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions in the system

• Keep accurate records of work performed

Experience

• 1-2+ years of experience with O&M works on Utility-scale solar farms or huge C&I projects (1MW+)
• Experience with AC, DC, and PV Systems
• Experienced with locating and troubleshooting ground faults
• IV Curve tracing and Megging experience (One of them - ideally both)
• OSHA certifications
• Valid drivers license
