Job summary

Harvest Solar in Champaign, IL is seeking a Solar Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial PV projects, lead the installation team, and ensure safety and quality on schedule. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage materials, and drive continuous improvement while supporting the VP of Operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in construction management, has 3–5 years of PM experience (5 MW+ projects preferred), and MIOSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related discipline is required.
  • MIOSHA 30 Certification is required.
  • 3–5 years of Project Management experience is required; 5 MW+ projects preferred.
  • AC/DC electrical installation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, LV/MV electrical, surveyor, and other trades.
  • Assist in scheduling the workforce and installation projects.
  • Ensure employees are trained to safely install quality solar arrays.
  • Manage materials on site and maintain inventory levels.
  • Provide financial feedback and support continuous improvement.
