Job summary
Empower Solar is seeking experienced solar installers to lead on-site installation of photovoltaic systems and battery backup setups. You will train crews, ensure safety, and maintain quality throughout projects. The role requires hands-on installation across residential and commercial sites with emphasis on safety and efficiency.
You will coordinate with customers, capture data, and troubleshoot issues as they arise, contributing to timely project completion.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years solar installation experience in both commercial and residential applications.
- Knowledge of basic residential, commercial and battery storage installations.
- Minimum 1 year of leading a crew of 3 or more.
- Ability to work in challenging environments (hot sun, cold, wind, tight spaces).
- Capable of standing for long periods and climbing roofs, ladders, stairs.
Responsibilities
- Lead solar installation on site and ensure crew safety.
- Organize, lead and train crews to complete projects per SOPs.
- Install battery backup systems and electrical components.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and document progress.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
- Communicate with customers professionally and address questions.
